The Brain Injury Association of Connecticut works with victims of traumatic brain injury and their families to provide work experiences, respite care, moral support and social opportunities. Each late summer or fall our Mission Board arranges for us to help put on the John Clark Memorial Picnic, named in honor of a long-time member of our church and a great support of B.I.A.C. The Mission Board provides hamburgers and hot dogs and members of the church bring salads and desserts and help with the cooking, serving and cleaning up. Good fellowship is one of the rewards for working on the picnic and having a sense of the diverse population in our church and community is another.
