Holy Communion Print E-mail
Holy Communion is celebrated at both Sunday services the first week of each month. Somers Congregational United Church of Christ practices open communion, and welcomes anyone who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and wishcommuniones to be Christ’s follower to receive the sacrament. It is our tradition for the congregation to remain seated as members of the Board of Deacons distribute the bread and cup to them. We serve both wine and grape juice and offer a gluten free alternative bread.
