Open House

Somers Congregational Church
We have invited the whole town to join us for a cup of lemonade, a cookie and tour of our facilities while they are in town for the Annual Craft Fair on the Town Hall grounds, on Sunday, September 5. We hope you will invite your neighbors and friends to stop by to get a feel for our church activities and groups as well as to meet some members and staff. |

Shoot and Share

Several of us in the church have digital cameras that we use with varying degrees of knowledge and success. We have gathered
information and experience and are thinking about getting together to share what we know with one another. We have set Sunday, September 19th at 3 P.M. as a time to get together, share what we know and learn what we can from one another. Anyone interested is invited to come and join us. All levels of knowledge and experience will be welcome.

Family Music Day
Sunday, Sept. 26, 2-4 pm
Somers Congregational Church
On Sunday September 26 from 2-4 P.M. the Music and Arts Committee is sponsoring a Family Music Day. It will feature stations where people will show how their instrument is played and (where appropriate) give young people a chance to try it out. Here is a chance to let you son or daughter play some notes on the pipe organ, ring the church handbells, strum a guitar, try the piano, and hear many other instruments, including ones they can make at home like the spoons. Refreshments will be served. |
