Nominating Committe

The Nominating Committee consists of six members; two elected each year to serve a term of three years. Candidates for the Nominating Committee are submitted to the Annual Meeting by an Ad Hoc Nominating Committee consisting of four members of the Church Council and two members of the Board of Deacons. An individual may serve no more than six consecutive years.


1. Meet as needed throughout the year.

2. Committee elects Chair, Secretary, and representative to the Church Council (may be Chair) each year.

3. Develop and maintain records, talents and interests of the members and friends of the church.

4. Maintain current list of officer, board, and committee vacancies to be filled. The committee shall recommend nominees to fill such vacancies each year for election at the Annual Meeting.

5. Select and receive consent of individuals to be nominated to fill any vacancies, which open during the year, submitting those names recommended by the committee to the Church Council for approval.
